- i don't even know where to start.
- anywhere will do. anywhere at all.

this has all been fun,
stop procrastinating.
you have work to do.

(but i don't have my writing pennnn

dear chelsea,
here's some free time, to make art.
i hope you like it.
merry christmas.
the universe.

ok, so,
i have decided that working full time is not really the same as being on winter vacation,
at all.
burn out.
3 days.
(please save my life)

but in more optimistic news:
this is the first day of days
getting longer.

a series of misfortunate events have caused me to change my blog template.
which i have not done in about three years.
root cause: nothing is free (anymore).
which is well enough, i guess, but the trouble is
nothing is plain old html anymore, either?
it's all widgets and doodads and rich text formatting?
i don't know how to use any of that.
so anyway.
minor disruption.
it's not quite the same as it used to be
but it will have to do.

in other news, i'm in a no-yoga slump
(since i lost track of time this morning winking around with code)
but on the bright side:
it only rained for part of the day and at the cafe
a good leo woman friend lady gave me an
indian. moonstone. sphere.
which will probably come in handy on december thirty-first when there will be a blue moon in cancer, culminating the power and energy of the last four moons.
you heard me.
put ur party hats on, alright.
and by 'hat,' i mean

instead of working all day,
making dinner,
studying for my exam, i

worked all day,
made dinner,
ate dinner,
slipped into a winter food stupor,
did not study for my exam.

oops. o well. because
look at the time.

today i learned how to felt!!!!
this has opened a whole new door into my world of magic art-making activities?
the bad news is
(there's always bad news, isn't there)
that i still have one exam left to write.
i have decided that i do not like writing exams during exam period.
i've decided that next semester this will not happen.
that's the beauty of being a fine arts student.
that's the beauty of doing one last semester, of electives.
unfortunately this means
no more mughal art grad seminar, but, you know, priorities.
b h. printmaking. ceramics. group of seven.

back to the present.
what are the chances i will not study for this exam in the name of needling fantastical animal dolls for everyone i love and care about?
what are the chances i will never have a reasonable bedtime again?
(20 to 1?)

tonight i will go to bed at nine o'clock and read year of the flood.
it's not, really, since i have an exam to write in ten days, and a job to work at, but i am pretending it's winter break anyway. because it pretty much is.
flowershop. cat. mughal painting. sunny and cold.
who's really complaining.
for christmas, i wish for a bodum.

you guys,
i can't stop wearing a turban.
